This restaurant is recommended by a local friend. It is located in a very nice piazza. There isn't any big decoration or direction outside. We asked a local lady and she directed us accurately to the restaurant.

The ambience inside the restaurant is very good. Comfortable and clean. The pasta is very good. The seafood is fresh and delicious. We've tried quite many different restaurants around that area. And the seafood there is better than many others.

The service is very good. Attentive but not disturbing. I had a very nice evening with my husband there. There was also a group of people happily eating next to us but they were not disturbing at all. So, I think it is a good choice for both romantic dinner and friends' gathering.

the two chief are very entertaining peoples. e have been there now several times. The cuisine proposed is sophisticate as simple..the fish and crustaceous is always fresh, of the region and superbly proposed with a variety fo antipasti, first and second dish quite impressive. Good selection of interesting wines. The restaurant is very nice, in summer got an internal patio quite fresh and beautiful. As far as it conern to me it is the best place to eat fish in sarzana by far.

The restaurant is located in the main square of Sarzana, which is a nice medioeval village located not far away from the coastal town of La Spezia (also in the vicinity: Lerici and Forte dei Marmi, this last one a nice posh location).
Sarzana is quite known for its antiquities fair during the month of August, with all the street full of stalls filled up with everything and more.... It is worth a detour if you happen to pass by.
The restaurant is all in the backyard, where it displays a very nice garden allowing open air dinners. Ambient and ambiance are both nice. The food is almost exclusively made of fish dishes, including the Italian style sashimi, i.e. a plate of local fishes and crustaceans, served crude. To do so fish must be extremely fresh and not many restaurants prepare these kind of dishes.
I did not find the food to be spectacular, I would say it was good and prepared with attention. Not memorable, but worth the visit.

A friend of mine brought me to discover this hidden treasure for the palate.
The passionate Chef-Owner has a magic touch.
Extremely accurate selection of products , a vein of geniality in the preparations and an excellent wine and champagne list.
Fish , crustaceous and seafood are his religion.
Small and cosy , it has a beautiful little garden in the back that fits three tables.

Only negative note : the owner reserves his rights to be closed , when he does not consider the availability of products up to par with his cuisine . ( some time you may find it closed , better call to make a reservation )
