I have been going to this restaurant for a long time, since it was a rickety old building back in the late 80s. After many years, the place has been revamped, the main dining room is a wooden structure with high ceilings and big open windows. Today we went for lunch, but although the place is famous for their brontosaurus-sized fried pork chops with the skin on, I had the fried chicken with garlic sauce and my husband had breaded steak. It was delicious. The chicken was perfectly fried, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The only disappointment was that they did not have their usual desserts, just candied papaya and guava with cheese, not to our liking.
