Description: Welcome to The Bell at Thorpe. We are a traditional village pub steeped in history that dates back to the 16th century with stunning timber beams throughout. We offer quality real ales that change on a regular basis as well as a great selection of fine wines both by the bottle and glass. We also boast a beautiful secluded sun terrace that backs onto the local church giving you peace and tranquility. Our bar menu offers a great selection of pub classics and baguettes served Tuesday through to Sunday when we also have our fabulous roasts! In addition we also have our restaurant The Olive Branch Bistro if you are looking for something a little more formal or for that special occasion. Join us to relax, maybe play one of our board games or just spend time with family and friends. We look forward to seeing you soon. The team at The Bell

The food is excellent and good value for money. We had a bit of a wait which I don't think is the norm. The landlady dealt with it before we mentioned so that was good; the food was so good it was definitely worth the wait. Quite exotic for the prices. Very good value tasty food.

Nice menu. Food sourced locally. Very reasonably priced. Portion sizes good and food good quality/tasty. Quiet when we went (a Monday night) but still nice ambience. Such a shame that they could not take my credit card at the end. They fell at the last hurdle with a broken card reader and no alternatives apart from suggesting we go down the road and withdraw cash! Ridiculous. Just hoping this debacle is not indicative of their overall organisation as, on the whole, it would be a pub/restaurant that I would recommend.

Just spent the weekend at the Lifehouse Spa (see separate review) for a friends birthday. Stumbled upon the Bell Inn in the village of Thorpe Le Stoken . Had a lovely lunch freshly coked on the premises. However what made the Bell Inn for my friend and I was the warm welcome from Sonia. Thank you Sonia for making us feel so welcome . Highly recommend the Bell Inn for value and great service.
