five star luxury apartment home from home all we needed and more for a family of five from the age of four to forty. everything witin easy walking distance. great host thanks Jack.
I would highly recommend this apartment, it is spacious and was spotlessly clean, the Sky TV with full sports package was a bonus especially if travelling with teenage boys! Kilrush is a lovely town, with plenty of amenities. The owner Jack was a pleasure to deal with and even recommended places for Sunday Lunch.
Greeted by friendly helpful owner.
Clean and well presented appartment.
Spacious kitchen/diner and lounge.
We spent 10 days at this rental. (14 Jun - 24 Jun) Very clean, bright, and quiet. The rooms are as pictured, what doesn’t show is the layout, which is perfect. The sleeping and living areas are separated so early morning risers do not disturb those still sleeping. There was all the nec. appliances, in great conditiion. The owner, Jack, was a phone call/5min. away if you needed. There was no clothes dryer, but a good size drying rack worked fine for us. The family bathroom has a large tub/shower but us old folks did not attempt to climb into it. The 2 other bathrooms had walk-in showers. No problem with 4 of us getting washed and ready in the morning, good shower water pressure and almost instant hot water. We did not hear any noise from neighbors or traffic, felt very secure. Parking is in the lot behind the building, no trouble getting a spot, and our rental car was secure. The balcony does not get the morning sun, and you can see parts of the marina (a building and some trees prevent a full view), it has a table and chairs and is in the front of the building. You can walk to the super value for groceries, ATM, and can walk to pubs, etc., but otherwise you need a car to get around as there is no public transportation. Kilrush is a lovely town, and of course the folks were extremely helpful. Jack was easy to keep in touch with before and during our stay. We would absolutely return and highly recommend this place for a visit to the Atlantic Way of Ireland.
Jack was very helpful and assisted with our booking. The condo was well equipped and in a great location for day trips around the West side of Ireland.
This is the first apartment we have stayed in as one of our party has a wheelchair. It was great, had lots of room and everything we needed. It was also very quiet, which was another thing we had worried about. Also being in the heart of Kilrush meant it was close to the shops and marina, also pubs and restaurants nearby, but still a very quiet area. Jack K was very accommodating and attentive. We had a lovely time.

As the parents of two teenagers,we know hotel rooms don't cut it for a weekend. They want their independence, they want their Wi-Fi and they want their TV, as well as accommodation that is of a high standard. So on discovering this apartment in West Clare I immediately booked it. We were not disappointed!
The apartment is owned by a local businessman and is finished to a high standard. You don't expect 3 bathrooms with 3 bedrooms, but that's what you get here. It's modern, open plan living - with Sky TV included if you need it. A balcony overlooks the local marina - so if you fancy a trip to a monastic island or dolphin watching, you don't even need to drive.
Kilrush is slap bang in the middle of the West Coast Wild Atlantic Way - so exploring Clare, Kerry and Galway is all within a 70 mile radius. The well laid out town, with a proud maritime history boasts award winning pubs - most also serve restaurant quality food. Speaking of food, the owner is himself a master butcher, don't miss his national award winning sausages and pudding! Kilkee with its beaches and spectacular cliff walks is only 7 miles away, as it the renowned Trump Links Golf Course. There is an 18 hole golf course within a mile of the apartment, if you fancy playing locally.
Would I recommend this to families of 3 to 6 people, most definitely. Or golfers looking to base themselves within an hour of Ballybunion, Doonbeg or Lahinch. It's only 40 miles to Shannon Airport.
Check it out for yourselves, don't take my word for it!
