We traveled as as small group of artists on a one-week painting holiday to Vittorio Veneto, Italy, and had Alma make our land and tour arrangements.
I had stayed here before and wanted my artist friends to experience what I had in the past, and it exceeded all our expectations.
The Palazzo Galletti is absolutely, one of the most beautiful, warm and comfortable places I have ever stayed at. You are treated more as family or friend, than guest.
The rooms are big, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The breakfasts, lunch and dinners, prepared by Alma, her mother, Elenora, with help from Ernest, were incredible, each could easily go on my "Best Meals of My Life" list.
The garden is so beautiful, a few of us even painted there, instead of the town for several days.
Seravalle, the section of Vittorio Veneto, where the Palazzo is, is a charming, untouristy town, with many hidden gems, and makes for a perfect home base to explore the Veneto and the Dolomites.
If you come as a group, Alma will prepare a package price that includes accommodation, food, touring and transfers to and from the airport.
I go to Italy, at least, once a year, and this was among the best of my Italian experiences.More
