I stayed at Getariano for 10 days, exploring Basque country by bus and walking. Marvellous country and people. If you have your accomodation at a 5* place you propably get 3-5* service, here,at a 2* PENSIONATE you have 5* service: lady of the house speaks very good english and french and is very, very helpful:ask anything. Getaria itself is a marvellous small fishing village.-The rooms are of course not any boutique-hotel-rooms,but very tidy,a bit dank because of the Atlantic and old building-anyway it was nice to have a cool room when outside temp. was 30C. People complain about the noise: if you stay in a village/town/city, there are people and there is noise,of course. In the South more than in the North. So I think you have to realise it-if it bothers you I do recommed take ear-plugs with you;always when staying out of your quiet home.-WiFI in the lobby,a bit weak in the room.Breakfast 5eur,just take it.
