We tried this local restaurant and ended up going back for a second visit within 3 days! We arrived in Agaete late on a Thursday night and the restaurant was empty but the owner was very friendly and explained what specials there were. We chose grilled fish for mains and gambas al ajillo and gofio for starters - there were all very tasty. The owner then brought out local liquers as a digestive on the house. When we asked if a shop would be open nearby as we wanted to buy water, the owner told us nothing would be open at that time and then went to fetch a large bottle of cold water for us, refusing to take payment for it. Highly recommended if you are in the area.
