If someone told you that you could be on a beach in Europe, on an island in the Mediterranean and feel like you were in the Caribbean or Mauritius, would you believe them? You should. Es Trenc is without doubt one of the most blissful beaches I've ever had the pleasure of spending a day on. It's a bit of a trek to get to, but it's well worth it. Absolutely splendid. While sunbed/parasol charges are what they are, it's well worth it for some shade. If you were going a few times, it would make sense to invest in your own, but as we only went the once, we paid for ours on the beach. Photos don't do it justice, the place is sublime.

We visited es trenc in June, so is wasn't very busy. It's a very big sandy beach. The best way to get there is by car, Because there is a big parking on the road before the beach with no extra costs. There are only a few places to buy drinks and snacks and you can stay either on the organized part of the beach, with beds and umbrellas, or on your own towel. The water has an amazing clear blue colour. The reason i'm not giving the 5* is because I was expecting the coast to be more clean.

Mallorca have many fantastic beaches. Es Trenc is one of the better if you look for a fantastic large sand beach. One of the things that this beach stands out is the lack of hotels and other commercial buildings. You have one restaurant and the regular salesman who is selling water and fruit. The final part of the trip is a small narrow road where it sometimes can be challenging to meet another vehicle. To the left of the beach you find some rocks which makes it more interesting for snorkeling. You have two different parking spots, one closer to the restaurant this parking charged 20€ and one other larger parking very close to the beach where they charged 7€. In the end of the beach to the left it seemed to be a nude section.

Bottom line: a absolute fantastic beach with clear water

Although my type of favorite beach is the smaller ones with fantastic snorkeling :)

I came to Es Trenc with a couple of friends of mine that live in Mallorca, they always told me the beauty of this place.
There are two main entrance and I strongly suggest to skip the one called Ses Covetes because of the traffic and the very poor parking.
Definitely better the entrance I the way to Ses Salines, where you will find few parking lots.
On the beach you have few places where to buy food and drinks but it is way better if you take it from home, saving you lot of cash!
The beach and the water are beautiful, you can stay on the organized one, with beds and umbrellas, or you can lie on the beach on your own beach towel.
This is also a naturist beach so you can go topless or nude in a area bout on the middle between the two entrance.
Nice atmosphere, people very friendly, full of people on the weekends but also on the weekdays in July and August.
A must if you are in Mallorca!
