“Head and shoulders above its competitor”
Reviewed August 15, 2013

After an appalling experience at the Aquapolis in Torrevieja last year, we gave the Aqua Park in Rojales a try. It was certainly worth the 20 minute drive from Torrevieja. We got there at 11am as the park opened. After a short ten minute queue, we were in the park. It is a nice sized place, where you feel comfortable letting the kids go off and do their own thing. They really enjoyed the variety of slides and rides and there was also a pool to cool off in but a bit too busy to have a peaceful swim. I would definitely recommend taking a picnic as I have heard the food isn't great quality, but can't confirm this. There are designated picnic areas, or you can eat where you have laid your towels on the grass verges. Sun loungers can be rented for three euros for the day and they also have lockers which need a one euro coin which you get back. Compared to the Aquapolis last year, there were no hidden costs and the queues for the rides weren't as long. A much better experience and we will definitely go back again

“Probably the smallest water park ever!”
Reviewed August 12, 2013

As long as you don't go with high expectations your fine! With only 3 decent water slides it's not the best but it is cheap enough and has a great large pool! Although they now charge you for sunbeds around the pool 3 Euros which is a bit cheeky but makes it easier to get 1! Definately 1 for the pre teen kids!

“A lovely fun alternative to the bigger water parks for kids and tweens.”
Reviewed August 8, 2013

We were going to go to aqua polis which was a 45 minute drive away but was recommended this place by some fellow holiday makers. Lovely clean park, prices reasonable 13 euros per adult, 11 for under 12's. Good idea to take loungers/chairs etc as there is an extensive gently sloping grass area full of sun parasols were you can park yourself for the day. If you want a lounger around the swimming pool its extra. The swimming pool is very deep at one end but there are lifeguards on duty, rest of the park consists of a variety of slides. One that is more daring for the older kids, and a mixture of others including one where you ride on a rubber ring. We visited with three children aged 10/11/12 all were happy enough and suitably occupied, there is also a great area for younger kids if needed. Older teenagers 13+ who enjoy the more thrilling slides would probably be quickly bored as the park has limited slides of this nature. For 12 and under I would def recommend, we had a lovely day and despite peak season the queues were ok, with reasonable waiting times to get on the slides.

“Great family day out”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

A lovely Aquapark with a good variety of slides, great location and reasonably priced. We visited with a 6 year old who was able to ride all slides which he thought was amazing. No negatives on our part but for those who always have to find fault I would advise arriving as early as possible if you want a sunbed around the main pool. However, we found a very pleasant bathing area with shaded umbrellas and thoroughly enjoyed it. In fact we went to swim in the pool mid afternoon and it was very overcrowded in and around the pool area, so actually we felt we were better situated away from the main pool area. Another negative, not for us, could be for those who don't like to queue, as by mid afternoon it became busier and therefore queuing times were longer. Finally another possible negative is that it is only a small park so don't expect lots of huge slides as the park is more suitable for younger children, 10 and under.
Overall a thoroughly enjoyable day had by all with no complaints.

“Great fun for the family with kids below 10 years”
Reviewed July 23, 2013 via mobile

Great way to spend a family day, lots of water slides for the kids, though older kids and teens might quickly get bored. Lots of life guards, one or two by every slide. You can bring your own food. Lots of tables in the shadow. Few tourists, many locals, not too crowded. Separate swimming pool for adults. Picnic area with umbrellas for shadow. Small café. Free parking. Good value for money - bring a flyer and get a discount.
