We booked the flat for a 3 nights vacation, on New Year's Eve, a group of 6 young people.
The apartment is very comfortable and offers an incredible view. It's situated very close to San Juan beach and to get to Alicante old city, public transport works good - bus took us (during holidays) 20'.
The host was very kind, offering us all the information needed and checking us in/out late in the evening.
Thank you!
I will recommend the place to friends as well.
Stayed one week in the apartment, with our 3 children.
The apartment has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Balcony with a dining table and also two lounge chairs. Beautiful view from the balcony.
The apartment is very well equipped, you' ll find all the household supplies you'll need for your stay.
500 m walk to the beach. The beach is wonderful!
About 10 minutes walk to the tram who transports you to Alicante.
Owner of the apartment most helpful. Gave us lots of useful info about the area before our arrival. A very nice lady called Nuria met us at the apartment on our arrival.
Very flexible check out time, we were welcome to check out at 17.30, which was great, beacause our flight was at 20.30.
You also get access to a pool. The pool is quite small, but our kids enjoyed it. Most of the time they had the pool to themselves:-) I think some sun beds or lounge chairs in the pool area would have been nice, there are only to benches where you can sit.
We really enoyed our stay at Canaima Alicante. For a familiy of 5 the apartment is perfect.
What can I say about this apartment......absolutely beautiful! Sometimes you see photos of accommodation and you think yeah, ok, looks nice but I bet it won't look like that when we arrive. But no, it was just as lovely in reality as it looked online.
The owner was very helpful via email/whatsapp/text regards any information we wanted for excursions (we decided to do our own investigating in the end) and he even asked us what flavour coffee pods we would like for the nespresso machine!
The apartment was immaculate with everything you need, down to him providing dishwasher tablets under the sink, water and milk in the fridge, mini toothpastes in the drawer and laundry tablets for our arrival. The blackout shutters on all of the windows were excellent, not a peep of light which meant no early sunrise wake up calls, much appreciated with our four year old :) The shared pool is lovely and warm with a small childrens section off it, and it has private gated access/gardens for security.
The views across to the sea were stunning and as its located in a residential area, lovely and quiet (ok, the odd moped but hey, it is Spain!) Alicante is a 30 min tram ride away (a five min walk to the nearest stop) and very cheap. We even went to Benidorm for the day for £12e :)
The beach (10 min walk) was stunning. Lovely white sands, clear blue sea and if you have children, they have swings and play areas dotted all the way along to keep them entertained. Lots of lovely sea front restaurants if you want a view and if you want to stay in and cook, theres a little shop 5 mins walk away for the basics, with a bread shop next door, plus a pizza parlour, a pharmacy and a bar.
Couldn't have asked for a lovlier place to take our young son on his first abroad holiday. There was a lovely french lady living in the apartment next door who helped us out with information, I'm sure she wouldn't mind you knocking on her door if you need advice.
One helpful tip, ask the owner to book you a taxi from the airport when you arrive, do not get in one waiting outside. We paid £40 euros when we landed....the owner booked one for our return to the airport...it was £25e :-o
Couldn't recommend this enough if you want a relaxing and chilled out holiday. If you want night clubs, water parks and pool bars with loud music then you'd better off going to ibiza! ;)
We had a 10 day stay in this beautiful apartment is was everything and more that we had hoped for.
Javier the owner couldn't have been more helpful and nothing was to much trouble.
It's very close to the beautiful sandy beach Playa San Juan, local shops, restaurants and the tram is there if you wanted to explore this fabulous part of the world..
Looking forward to a return visit
