We walked around the area in the day - not sure I would go at night. Although there were a few pretty spots. Mostly it’s covered in graffiti, which is such a shame. We’ll not be hurrying back. Much nicer parts of Alicante to enjoy.

Get lost while walking alongside the beautiful and charming neighborhood of Old Town Alicante (Bairro Santa Cruz).

Alicante's old town is colourful. It is full of houses of different colours as well as a couple small squares. Despite of the somehow steep alleys, it is an interesting area to explore.

Almost in the centre of Alicante. If you decide to visit Santa Barbara castle, choose the way through it. Maybe it could be tiring and discouraging with many steps but it is really worth walking. In these narrow streets you will feel the real spirit of Spain.

If you visited Sta Barbara's castle you should take a walk through this tipical barrio all the way to the port. A nice walk full og hidden beauties.
