This is a very unusual promenade and well worth a look if you are in Alicante, on the first trip here I felt strange walking along as it gives the impression of being uneven, it is not, it is just the orientation of the design. Excellent street stalls selling local handicrafts are open along the walk and a good number of restaurants. The council put out wooden chairs where you can rest for free and if it is hot there are many shady spots along the promenade. A good day out for all ages, as it is close to the beach and marina. The restaurants around the marina are pricy and not, in my opinion, good value for money.
