Hop on and pay at the machine on-board as you need this to exit the station which is bang smack in the middle of town!

Visited Alicante and decided to visit Benidrom for the day.
Walked into the town centre and on locating the station went to the ticket office and asked for a return to Benidorm and was surprised at the cost of just over 6 Euros.was given the ticket and preceded to the platform where after a short wait the L1 line tram arrived and I hopped on - easy.

The tram was clean and comfortable and tickets can be purchased from a machine on the tram.
The trip,to Benidorm took just over an hour stopping at a number of station on the way. From the tram views of the sea, beaches etc give you an idea of possible places to visit on future trips.

After a walk around Benidorm and partaking in a few beers I made my way back to the station for the return journey. A few hours week spent!

1.45 euros per journey or 10 euros for 10. Change is given. No specific space allocated for luggage, but we managed to squeeze on a large suitcase. Not too popular with some! Generally seemed to run to time & always clean and relatively comfortable.

Very clean and quick only used it once very easy to buy tickets and no fuss went to El Campillo for the day easier to find the tram station than bus stops.

We were going to use the Alicante tram to travel to Benidorm for the day, however we decided to take a shorter trip first and see some other sites. Whilst being a good tram, clean and with a/c it was so slow and put us off the hour and bit journey to Alicante
