“Great Way to go to Benidorm”
Reviewed October 4, 2012

We used the Tram to go to Benidorm (about 6 euro return) It took about 1.15mins & you got to see some lovely coastline & some awful tower block that people live in, (sorry but I come from a country where 95% of people live in houses) great value & easy to use.

“Clean and comfortable but not easy to figure out what the fare is”
Reviewed October 1, 2012

We used the tram line 4 to get from our hotel at San Juan Beach to downtown Alicante. You can buy your ticket from a vending machine in the train but we could not figure out how much to pay. (Be prepared, the machine will not give you change.) We decided to buy a 1.40€ "Metropolitano" ticket which later turned out to be correct at the exit when our tickets were checked. On our way back we tried to figure out when line 4 would depart but with no success. All instructions were in Spanish and no line 4 timetable available. At least the ticket vending machine was able to give change.

Really good & reasonably priced. Clean & on time, price structure a little confusing but all part of the fun
