By far the best tapas in Alicante. Dont expect the traditional tapa but enjoy a "fusion" tapa on a very high gastronomic level and that to a decent price. Not really cheap but compared to quality its a find. Suprising combinations of ingredients and delicius looks, here you get it all. Very large selection of spanish wines and the chef will guide you through the jungle, he speeks a perfect english. Visited the place 2 times on a 3 day trip, tried most of the menu. There was absolutely nothing that could have been better. Tapas prices from € 4 and up to 12, even the cheap ones are a perfect experience. No wonder Michelin mention this place.

Gorgeous food, great wine, friendly staff. This is definitely one of the nicest places to eat in the city centre. Original tapas & ok a little bit more expensive than most others, but worth it! I would have given it topmarks, but we did find the service quite slow (and it was a quiet evening when we were there).

As we were around Alicante for a day or two this year we decided to return to this restaurant which was so fab last year. Although the Tapas were still fantastic the service was lousy. The waitress who had been so good last year was gone, and this year it was slow to the point of having to repeatedly ask for things, which ultimately never arrived to our table anyway (a bottle of water, gluten free bread, and 2 glasses of wine which arrived only after a lot of asking). When I told the head waiter he never brought the gluten free bread he cracked a joke about not only having no hair...he also had no memory. Unfortunately for him, my husband does, and remembered the same guy cracking the same joke last year so we didn't really find the excuse funny this year.
Although the food was delicious, when I am on a night out I find the evening can be completely spoiled and become rather stressful by awful service. Will go elsewhere for delicious food next time.

This restaurant is a little piece of culinary paradise in Alicante. I ate two wonderful dishes " en la terraza " and drank a good white wine from Navarra. A must go place in the city

I just discovered this place last week and have already been back twice. The food is delicious - traditional Spanish tapas with a modern inventive twist and a great wine selection. It is not cheap but the price is worth it for the high quality of the food. I would definitely recommend and will be back!
