Only stayed one night, it was a short stopover before catching the train elsewhere. The location is good, you are 10-15 min walk to the train station, near the main street and a short 15-20 min walk to some sites (e.g. The Santa Barbara castle).
But the noise inside the hotel is very bad - you can hear everything around and above you! Also the hotel staff are ok but don't volunteer any info.
If I was staying more than one night I would look elsewhere next time.

We booked two rooms here, because it is 1 mile to the football stadium..It was clean and basic, but badly needs an uplift. However considering the price of £45 B&B ,it merits average if only due to the cost. Great for a boys/girls weekend if you don't spend too much time in your room.Book twin rooms as the doubles looked very small.Cars can be parked underground for 8 euro per night.

Room Tip: Book a twin room

We wanted a cheap, clean hotel for one night, half-way between the Hercules stadium and the beach. This hotel provided just that, but little else. The little reception area was pleasant, but corridors and bedrooms are dull, dated and very noisy. Staff were pleasant and helpful though.
The bedroom and bathroom were spacious, but badly in need of an upgrade. The hotel promised air conditioning, but this was centrally controlled and I'm not sure exactly when it was on - certainly not when we arrived in 32 degrees heat and in need of a siesta in the afternoon (we phoned reception, and were told it would be on in 5 minutes, but it never happened) and it had been switched off when we got back to the room at night and was not on in the morning. Reception was always beautifully cool though!
The promised wi-fi in the room did not work, and there was a minibar stocked with bottles which needed a bottle-opener - but none was provided. This was the only time the grubby balcony came in useful - the railings were fine for opening bottles!
For what we needed, it was okay, the bedding was clean, though the bed was not very comfortable, and there was a safe in the room. For a longer stay, I would not consider it - it was just too depressing. I think maybe it gets its three-star rating on what it advertises, not what it actually provides - it bore no resemblance to the fabulous 3-star hotel we had in Madrid on the same trip. But then again, it was half the price...

Room Tip: High rooms at the front have a good view of the castle. There is a great little local restaurant a...

Noisy, not very clean, the bed was extremely small and uncomfortable, but at least the personnel is polite.

Cheap and good location these are the two things I can say about! I rest ... modest. I can classify as average hotel. I stayed there for 3 nights, nothing to note, or to remember!
