“Expensive!!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 1, 2013 via mobile

Went here to celebrate an anniversary . The food was good abd well presented but to be honest the quality was no better than others in the area and the prices are way too high. The head waiter needs to unbend as his attitude when we made the booking was decidedly off . Wouldn't go back .

“Elaborate dishes”

Awesome. Excellent for having lunch or dining for couples. Excellent food, but not cheap. The desserts are a must; if you speak Spanish, enjoy the owner "singing" you the desserts menu

“A really good restaurant”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 9, 2012

Maybe slightly off the beaten track, but well worth searching out. We were heading for Las Candelas (now closed) and arrived here almost by accident for lunch.
A carpaccio of Huelva langoustines was outstanding, closely followed by a lomo de bacalao ligeramente ahumado and solomillo de buey a la parilla. The house is proud of its deserts but they are rather rich.

The waiters were friendly and helpful and dealt amiably with linguistic shortcomings on our part. They recommended a wine from a local coop, a barique aged white Mioro 1955 (that's the brand, not the year) which drinks easily, not overly dry and with a soft fruity aroma. We were the only non-local there.

For anybody who is in the Huelva area, La Plazuela can be recommended. In season, it might be best to reserve as there does not seem to be much else in this unprepossessing town.
