“very traditional”
Reviewed May 24, 2014

heard good things about and when we found it, not easy, it was well worth the experience.
Lovely courtyard to sit in and very friendly owners/staff. Food very traditional, large portions but tasty.
Beware no English spoken whatsoever, so if you can't speak Spanish, you are in the hands of the staff when ordering....we had lots of dishes, too many really, with potato in them - very filling.....

“Treated like a (Gypsy ) King”
Reviewed November 19, 2013

For visitors to Tenerife seeking a traditional restaurant experience, La Corraia must be top of the list.
Situated close to El Medano in the South, the food is excellent particularly the Flambe Strawberries- but of equal importance is that the family run establishment has a warm welcome and makes you feel part of the restaurants evening and not the 'square peg in round hole' which sometimes happens on holiday when trying something outside the hotel.
Live music was on for the full evening during my visit, a solo professional Spanish guitar player in the Flamenco style that makes you want to clap ala Gypsy Kings and dance on the table!.
A thouroghly great evening, thank you.
