We dropped by this place completely by chance, but I thought I had seen a recommendation for it. As it turned out, we where in luck. As most northern Europeans, we go out to eat earlier than most spanish, so there was availability. After having been very well greeted by the owner, we had a look at the menu. I am a vegetarian, and normally in Spain this can be a little bit of a challenge. The options here where good. We made a rather huge order between the four of us, but our belly where pretty empty. When the food arrived it looked fantastic, but also simple. The tastes that where combined where very inspiring, and the chèvre-salad was the best salad I have ever had. We had loads to eat, and rolled out of the place very pleased with service, food and the atmosphere.
If you go to Tenerife, you should make the effort to come here. Prices are good, and food is by far the best I have had in Spain or the Canary islands ever. The michelin-star restaurant "Casa del Tagoro" in the same town is definately not as good, but it is more expensive if that is important to you.
