We were stuck in Germany in April of 2010 during the closure of airspace due to volcanic ash. We were staying in Kronberg, so asked for a restaurant recommendation, and were directed to Lucullus. We found it so good we ate there three of the next four nights.
I highly recommend it if you are staying near Kronberg. The food is excellent, with good variety, and good wines. The decor is modern and pleasing, and the wait staff was very helpful to some Americans who spoke neither German nor Italian.
