This resturant is in a small village about one hour from Munich, it is well worth a visit, you need to call first, as sometimes they have private partys which book out the resturant.
The resturant was recomended but it was even better than i imagined, it is just run by two people, but you feel well looked after, they have a small menu which they write on a board, and bring to your table, everything is cooked fresh, so you must wait, but they bring you appetiszers ( free) while you wait.
The food is outstanding, we were 8 people and everyone praised the food to the highest order. The service amazing and the resturant is very tastely decorated with a piano which is over 100 years old and a very old typewriter, to name a few of the things around.
To our delight they made a tradtional german dessert a panacake type dish but with currants etc and takes a while to make, this was also free of charge.
they really made you feel welcome, I cannot wait to have the chance to go again.
Even without the freebies, this resturant is not expensive very good value for money.
