“FIRST CLASS, FRIENDLY, PLEASANT, WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE!”
Reviewed August 8, 2010

We had the good fortune to stay at The Beach Guesthouse for 3 nights.

The facilities are first class, close to all amenities.

Breda and John are fantastic! John greets you on your arrival - be ready for a really friendly Irish welcome! He has the most gorgeous, hilarious sense of humour! What a darling! And Breda - what can we say - she is adorable, she cooks the most wonderful, delicious breakfasts, assisted by her hubby, John, our waiter, receptionist, guide, comedian extraordinaire!!

Nothing is too much trouble for either Breda or John. I would thoroughly recommend staying with them. Dunmore East is the most picturesque, lovely little hamlet, the people are friendly, the scenery is surreal. The Strand Hotel is literally a few steps away and they have lovely meals and you can spend a leisurely few hours there sipping on a glass of wine.

All in all, the best experience!

Thanks Breda and John - you are absolute gems!

The rooms was very warm and was designed for the guest in mind. Even though the room did not have a window to the ocean, it looked out on a back patio and it was quite pleasant. The innkeepers were extremely cordial in that I asked to sew a seam in a pair of pants and the innkeeper brought out her sewing machine so that I could use it. It was so nice of her to do it. the town was very beautiful and the view to the ocean was awesome.

4 nights at the Beach Guesthouse was a pleasure. Bright modern rooms with timber floors and matching furnature. White decor with a mix of chrome and black fittings. Large enough shower room equally well fitted and tiled. Quiet location. Our room had sea view. Well recommended.
The breakfast was plentyfull and the owner/waiter kept out of the way without being too distant a host. As mentioned the rooms were clean but dust gathered in those not too often checked locations. Bed heads.TV and table lamps.

We recently had the pleeasure of staying in this lovely accomodation on the sea for five nights. The entire experiance was wonderfull. The roomwas pretty and spotlessly clean. The breakfasts were absolutely sumptous! and the hosts Brida and John were so very kind, hardworking and helpfull. They are tireless in their care of their guesta and I do not think that we have ever had such a value for dollar accomodation that felt so luxurious and pampered at the same time. The sae veiw was breathtaking and the entire visit at the beach Guesthouse will be a happy memory for a long time. Thank-you Brida and John

Based on reviews we read here we decided to stay at the Beach Guest House for 2 nights during our trip through Ireland. The property is conveniently located and well maintained. Our room was large, clean and had a very comfortable bed as well as a nice view over the strand. Based on seeing other guest houses/inn's in the area I think this one is among the best and if we returned to the area we would stay again. Also, we can recommend the Spinnaker Restaurant just up the street for a nice dinner and a pint!
