You would walk right by this little stand, with a few tables on the sandy street, but stop in for a great meal and value! As you walk past the security gate in the little village of Playa El Tunco, it is the first little stand on your left. It is operated by Juan Carlos and his wife. This place is next to Taco Guanaco.
At lunch time, she's cooking up a wonderful hearty soup, a meat "stew," and an entire fish with rice and salad - all these for $2.50! Beers are 80 cents and sodas are 50 cents. For dinner, you can choose between any left over lunch items, plus a delicious meat torta (sandwich), an amazing hamburger (who would have guessed?), and a great fish sandwich. These items will set you back $2.50-$3.00.
You can maybe sit at a table with their two beautiful kids. The entire family is so nice and friendly. Great food and a great value.
