Description: Stile Bridge Freehouse Pub & Restaurant is an independent, family owned country pub serving a wide range of real ales, wonderful wines and a spectacular Gin List in addition to the usual spirits. With a fully commercial kitchen cooking food freshly prepared from local produce, a vegetarian-friendly mix of English cuisines from old favourites to something a little different awaits and all at very reasonable prices. There is a large patio garden with plenty of benches and seating for the summer and real fires indoors for the colder winter months. There is a separate restaurant inside the spacious interior of the pub but customers are welcome to eat in the bar and lounge areas should they choose to. A large free car park is available for all our visitors.

We have been here a few times and have always enjoyed it, and I thought it was about time I actually write a review.

This place is a must visit. The staff are welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. The setup of the place is excellent, with a great open fire for the colder months and plenty of little areas to have a good time.

The beer selection (and other beverages but I was more interested in the beers) are second to none. A good wide range of flavours, breweries and styles all backed up with Mark's impeccable knowledge.

Of course with fine beer, a nibble or two is required and the home made steak and ale pie cannot be missed. If you have a little sweet tooth then then their ice cream is a varied and as good as their drinks selection.

A great place that will satisfy you whether it's a romantic meal for two or a visit with family or friends.

Oh and their Sunday roast is up with the best of them!

My wife and I had a thoroughly enjoyable meal with good service. Although the cost was slightly more than average for the type of venue it was still good value for money.
