“The beauty is transcended only by Tony & Ann's hospitality”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 2, 2012

Visited for a week with family, including two young children and college students. All loved our time at this most special place. I cannot say enough about Tony and Ann. From the moment we arrived we felt so welcome. We took day trips and also enjoyed being at the house and cooking ourselves (and enjoying the wonderful meals delivered by Ann and Tony. Just delightful.

Flew to Rome, picked up a car, spent the evening & night in a wonderful suburbian hotel, bliss. Drove to Racchiusole the next day, loved the countryside, along the last couple of miles to the villa we drove past fields of poppies and cornflower. We felt we were really in the wilds but warm and comfortable.
The villa was amazing, crusty but immaculate, our own pool, log fires, real homely comfort, fantastic views and a kitchen to die for.
We spent our seven days exploring the local countryside, lying around the pool, visiting nearby markets, and towns steeped in interesting history.
Can't wait to return

This is the second time we have stayed here, and it couldn't have been more perfect (once again!). The surrounding area is serene and peaceful and the villas are well appointed and beautiful. The availability of great food delivered to your door and the amazing views outweigh the trip to the shops and the lovely owners are on site to keep things running smoothly. Kids loved it. We loved it. Can't recommend it enough.

Totally beautiful setting and perfectly clean and put together villa. Tony and Ann could not have been more helpful - and the food that was delivered 3 nights we ordered it was delicious and great value. Kids loved all the flora and fauna. Could not have been more relaxing. Not the easiest place to reach with about 3km of unpaved road to get out - but we didnt go anywhere much because it was too nice to leave!

This villa is in a secluded location in beautiful woodland with plenty for the kids to explore. It's large, comfortable, homely and perfectly clean. The friendly English owners live nearby and did a marvellous job ensuring we had everything we needed, including scrumptious home-cooked meals which we ordered several nights for the sake of an easy life. More time for sipping wine and enjoying time with the kids and our friends. Very happy to recommend it to anyone looking for a high quality villa in a quiet location in the hills and woods of Umbria.

The Villa is situated in a stunning raised position with panoramic views of the gorgeous Umbrian countryside wherever you look. It is about as tranquil a place as anywhere can be in Europe, while being well situated for day trips to all that Umbria and (Tuscany) can offer. The rooms are immaculately presented, and there is plenty of outdoor space for eating, swimming, relaxing and enjoying the sound of the bees! And the added extra is that the owners live on site and are extremely friendly and helpful. We had a fantastic holiday here!

Had such a great time here. Our family live in Italy anyway so getting here was no problem. The welcome was really warm and the food supplied was great. The villas are really big and slept loads of us. We had some quite raucous parties with BBQ and drinks overflowing but no-one minded as each villa is really tucked away and no-one can hear you! Days were spent in the pool which was lovely after the heat. I’d describe it as a high end villa but still very homely. Would come again.
