My husband and I stayed at Yorebridge House in mid January.
I had found it on the a Secret Escapes deal, but dealt with the hotel direct. From the first phone call I made for the booking to leaving the Hotel I could not fault a thing.
The Hotel is in a quiet little village, perfectly situated to explore the beautiful Dales area.
This hotel is rated in the top 10 most Romantic places to stay in the UK and deserves it's place most definitely.
We stayed in the Barn which is a few minutes walk up the road from the hotel.
On arrival at the hotel we checked in and were seated in the bar to enjoy a welcome glass of Prosecco.
We then drove up the road to the Barn to be greeted by David (The owner) who was charming and most attentive, showing us all the facilities on offer (and there are plenty).
The Barn is beautifully decorated and finished to a very high standard. A great deal of thought and effort has gone into creating a beautiful space that works very well.
Wonderful double shower and a large freestanding bath. The bed was very comfortable and there was a large flat screen TV both upstairs and down in the living area (complete with sky tv package and dvd player).
We were only here for the night (unfortunately), but there is a small kitchen and living area which would be great if you were staying for a few days.
Just outside in the small court yard there was a lovely hot tub which was being freshly filled on our arrival. David explained that all the hot tubs are emptied and freshly filled for each new occupant, which was nice to hear and not at all out of character for this hotel who it seems go that extra mile to make your stay something special!

Our dinner at the restaurant was lovely. We were treated to a small tray of canapes with our pre dinner drinks. The food was beautifully presented and tasted as good as it looked!
Breakfast was equally as nice, my husband chose the Yorebridge cooked breakfast and I had the Buffet style, both were lovely.
On our departure we had the opportunity to see a couple of the rooms in the hotel, which despite being upgraded where very nice and equally tastefully decorated to a high standard.

I would like to take the opportunity to thank all the staff at Yorebridge for their friendliness and expertise and for making us feel so welcome. We will definitely be returning!!

Room Tip: We stayed in the Barn which despite being a few minutes walk from the hotel was well worth it. Not...

We stayed in the Mougins room, which is French themed. The photos on their website don't do the actual room justice. It's far nicer in real life. Gorgeous decoration, lovely bath, beautiful sash windows and lovely little extras in the room. The bed and pillows were a bit hard but that could just be personal preference.

Food was lovely. Don't eat here if you're a fussy eater as all dishes are quite unusual but delicious! Quality was lovely and the staff explained the dishes if needs be. Cheesecake taster dessert was amazing!

Full English in the morning was delicious.

We were recommended by the manager to try a local pub for lunch. It was very cute and authentic.

Great stay, very expensive but a treat.

Stayed for one night courtesy of a Secret Escapes offer. We had Mourgin room, which was beautifully decorated and well equipped. We were given a complementary glass of prosecco and a slate of tasty nibbles before dinner, which was extremely well prepared, presented and served. Staff at the House were very friendly and courteous. We will definitely return as it's one of the nicest places we've stayed at!

We've just returned home from a wonderful overnight stay at the Yorebridge, bristling with ideas of how we'd like our own humble abode to be like. Everything about this Yorkshire Dales gem of a hotel oozes class, from the delightful riverside setting, to the quality of the fixtures and fittings, friendliness of the staff and the exceptional food. We were lucky enough to be given an upgrade to the Africa-themed Kariega room with its own private hot tub, which was bliss. If you had to design a perfect retreat, this would be it. We'll be back!

Just got back from our weekend stay. The whole experience was fantastic from the moment we arrived to us leaving. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. On our arrival we given a free glass of bubbly, which we enjoyed in the bar area sat next to an open fire. Our room was the Nishiki with a private Hot Tub which was just perfect . We were later shown around all the rooms and we have to say that they are all beautifully designed and special in their own way. We would however choose the Nishiki again.
The location is great and there are some great walks with some stunning scenery.
A big big thank you to all the staff for making our stay a memory that we shall keep fondly

We recently stayed over the christmas holidays on Boxing Day. The surrounding area is beautiful, we enjoyed a morning walk in the hills above hawes and took in the hardraw force waterfall. The hotel staff greeted us warmly during check in and showed us to our room and explained it features. The room was very clean and was a good size, the hot tub and double ended bath perfect. We had booked a table for dinner and were able to select our food over a drink in the bar. The three course meal was lovely and included an amuse bouche and a small taster dessert before our selected dessert was served. The great food continues after a great nights sleep- the breakfast menu offered with options for most tastes and appetites. All in all we will definitely be returning, perhaps in summer when we can enjoy more of the surroundings- and would recommend anyone booking for a relaxing break.

We stayed for 1 night between Christmas and New Year in the Jasper Suite. It is a beautiful room in a fantastic setting.
The staff were so attentive from the moment we arrived around 2pm, we had sandwiches and coffee in the bar before being shown to our room where we received a free glass of bubbly...a nice touch.
Our meal in the restaurant was out of this world, the staff were absolutely brilliant and the food was really really good.
One minor gripe was breakfast which took 30 minutes to arrive and my wife had ordered boiled eggs which were hard, but this in no way detracted from our experience.
Its a wonderful place and we are certain that we will stay again.
