A bit off the beaten track but that is part of it's charm. Always a friendly welcome and staff find time to have a chat and remember you if you visited before. Very attentive and helpful with anything you ask.
Rooms are all different and some have hot tubs. Very comfortable and clean. Bar and lounge are good to sit and have a drink and you can chat with other guests if you want. Yorebridge Ale is nearly always on tap and sometimes Black Sheep. Good selection of wines and spirits. Some good pubs to eat at nearby but worth asking the staff for recommendations.
Food is excellent and you feel you have a good tasty meal without ending up too full. Not cheap but enjoyable. Breakfasts are great.
Lots to do, Theakstones Brewery is worth a visit if you like beer tasting.More
