Stayed in the Rangali room. Very nice, not overly large but comfortable. Bathroom very good but think the shower drain may need some attention! Lovely hottub and outdoor area. Enjoyed pre dinner drinks with very attentive and friendly bar staff. Dinner was varied menu with nice canapes, good ambience. Good breakfast the next day although staff a little chaotic. Not sure if the whole area can get broadband but lack of wifi a real issue made worse by lack of mobile signal. Surprised not to be offered a guest questionnaire or asked if everything was okay. Very satisfied but for the price would have gladly offered detailed feedback so they could address issues e.g smelly shower. Happy to recommend and would visit again.

This is a well situated hotel

Very comfortable lounge bar and restaurant area.

Bedroom (Jasper) bed spacious but the bath was somewhat narrow and required a mountain goat agility to get out of. The toilet and bath are only separated by a half wall from the main bedroom thus a discrete turning up of the TV volume was required whilst the loved one was performing his morning rituals!!

The staff were universally very welcoming, helpful and friendly and the leaflets for the localwalks the best we have used.

The breakfast was excellent and the evening dining Ok though the main course, for want of a better word was a little anaemic. The Monk cheese and the local blue were excellent but I would skip the brie.

Could I suggest itemised billing for the bar / restaurant billing since this makes checking the billing easier and saves embarrassment or alternatively the Italian model of signing them off at the end of the evening.

Some of the rooms have hot tubs: I suspect this hotel suits younger romantics.

This is a long overdue review of Yorebridge House, which was the venue for our wedding(s!) at the end of September 2012. The list of things to commend Yorebridge is a long one, most of which have been covered below, so I will try to keep this short.

We were quickly seduced by the warm and sophisticated decor of the hotel, the calming and individually themed bedrooms, the cosy lounge, and of course, the beautiful surroundings of the Yorkshire Dales. All of these elements meant that Yorebridge was the only and very easy choice for our wedding venue. We were looking for a small, boutique hotel, which when hired outright, would have the feel of hiring a lovely house and filling it with your favourite people, and we had found it.

And our first impressions were not wrong... While all of these things were central to the type of day we wanted and the day we had, it was ultimately the people at Yorebridge who made everything come together. Every member of staff cares hugely about doing the best job possible for you, and they took on everything we threw at them! From hosting their first Hindu ceremony, to serving both a scrumptious traditional afternoon tea and an Indian wedding banquet, there was no task they weren't willing to take on. So much happens on a wedding day - not least when two ceremonies happen in the same 12 hour period - and we were able to relax completely during the day in the knowledge that Charlotte, Damian and team were on top of everything. They are an incredibly experienced bunch and we came to rely on them more than we can say.

Apart from the wedding side of things, the hotel itself is the ideal place to relax and each time we pulled into the hotel after the long drive from London, we did so with a sense of relief and calm! The communal areas of the hotel are simultaneously cosy and chic, the ideal place to read a book with a glass of wine or a coffee. The bar is a great place to stop for a cocktail en route to dinner. The bedrooms - all individually themed and all gorgeous (having had our wedding there, we have seen them all!), have some common features including the most stunning bathrooms, top of the range technology and luxurious bed linen. We're very much looking forward to returning on our anniversary in the years to come and making our way around all 11 rooms! As the Bride to Be, preparing to go to bed the night before the wedding in the soothing luxury of the bedroom named Pienza felt more like a treat than the nervous experience I had anticipated. (P.S. future brides, I found Pienza to have lots of space and most importantly, sunlight for getting ready). Not to forget of course, the rooms with hot tubs - I can't think of a more fun way to have ended our wedding day than in a giant hot tub with 6 of our best friends!

All of our family and friends who stayed in the hotel, and in the new self-catering cottage in Bainbridge village, were thrilled to be staying in such a gorgeous hotel. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Yorebridge and can't thank them all enough for their hard work, and genuine care and attention they showed us and our family and friends. This is what a boutique hotel should be - top-class food and drink, stunning yet subtle interiors, and a professional and attentive staff. Yorebridge House deserves huge amounts of luck in the future, and we look forward to our first return visit with anticipation!

Room Tip: Pienza has great light and a stunning bathroom - great for brides to be!

We stayed in the Greenwich Room at the very top of the hotel for our second visit to Yorebridge House which is a great space and a super room for the winter months to relax in the separate lounge area and escape the cold and winter weather on the outside! We would however endorse the comment of an earlier traveller re the height of the beams in the room; at the end of our stay we felt we had walked with a stoop to avoid banging our heads.

Not withstanding that, the room was the luxury it suggests on the web site and one to choose for an indulgent break if a hot tub is not your preference , and it certainly wasnt ours so that would not have embelished our stay in any way.

The restaurant food was absolutely excellent and a superb choice of game on the menu which we are both partial to and the way in which the food was cooked, served and presented for us, could not be faulted.
The breakfast menu suggested the serving of Granola and Berry fruit compote which we remembered well from our last stay but this was absent on the morning which was a slight disappointment.

Overall, if you are looking for a really peaceful break away, with food to tempt even the most jaded appetite, really comfy beds and great attention to detail in the finishing touches in the rooms then this is certainly a place to try to fulfil all of these requirements.

We stayed in the St Jean room at the beginning of February. We like to try luxury/boutique hotels & had not heard of this place before -we are so impressed with this hidden gem & would highly recommend. The service & attention to detail we received was outstanding. The quality & presentation of the food was stunning. The room was lovely & hot tub a nice addition, although you do need to pay attention to the instructions! A very elegant and attentive hotel. We will definitely be returning soon.

I took my partner to Yorebridge house as a surprise birthday present and we had a great stay. We stayed in the St Jean room (with hot tub!) and it was absolutely lovely. The pictures on the website do not do it justice! Much more spacious than it looks! It was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. We ordered room service for dinner and it was very fast and fantastic food. The staff are brilliant, they will organise everything you need and really do look after you!! Can't wait to go back and try other rooms! Hopefully this time it'll be my partner who treats me!

Room Tip: St jean was brilliant, very private too!

The Yorebridge is set by a beautiful river in a small village in the Dales. We had been looking for a nice hotel, something a bit special for the weekend after Valentines day. We got a good last minute rate for dinner bed and breakfast and arrived just after check in time at three pm.

All of the staff and other residents were very friendly, we had a bottle of champagne on arrival and were shown to our room, the Saint Jean. The bathroom is delightful, modern and lovely with a large double shower. The room has a sea based theme and is tastefully decorated with lots of shells etc. The bedside iPod dock worked but we did seem to be unable to work the TV.... we only managed to get channel 5 but you don't go away to watch TV! Robes and slippers are also provided which is useful for the hot tub outside.

We were told our hot tub was being prepared and would be ready in about ten minutes. They are emptied and cleaned daily which is nice to hear! We spent some time in the tub before dinner and went back in after, it was very romantic being under the clear sky watching the stars, we didn't even realise until we got out that it had been freezing and our robes and slippers had frozen with the moisture within them from before!

Food in the restaurant was delicious and we enjoyed cocktails with dinner. Breakfast the following morning was also lovely. The staff who work at the Yorebridge were all very helpful and friendly.

Thank you for making our stay so special!
