We spent one night here and had a truely lovely time. Our room Mougins, was spacious, pretty and the bed very comfy. There was an issue with our tv which we weren t too bothered about but every effort was made to sort it, which wasn t easy on a sunday evening! Our meal was stunning. Beautifully prepared, presented and served and breakfast was a treat as well. Im sure we ll be back!

I have stayed here several times and always enjoyed it. The staff are very helpful and friendly and the rooms good. Some rooms are rather poorly lit but that wouldnt be an issue with everyone. Some have an outside hot tub which can be fun but again not for everyone - we used one in mid december in the snow last year which was exhilerating! The only real issue I have is the bathrooms - rolltop baths with nowhere to put the soap/ shampoo and sinks with nowhere to put my sponge bag .So very annoying especially in a hotel of this standard - a couple of small sheves would be so simple !
Also, on this occasion my pillow was hard and the mattress wasnt brilliant but there again these things are personal choice.
we stayed here again a couple of weeks ago and the food was fantastic. Overall a lovely place to stay.

Room Tip: Try to get a room on the top floor - as with most hotels a heavy footed early riser in a room above...

Me and my husband stayed here in october 2012 for one night. We wanted a romantic break away so were looking for a nice country side hotel that has a private jacuzzi. Welcome to hotel was really nice and friendly we stayed in the carribean room which was great decor was top quality bathroom was done to top spec also room came with sky t.v. Best part of the stay was the private jacuzzi which we stayed in most of the time so would definetly recommend that as an option worth every penny the scenery around the gotel is beautiful as it is in yorkshire dales so if you enjoy going for walks or exploring this would be ideal. One thing i would say is not many shops near by or places to eat so you would have to eat in the hotel if you dont mind driving.

Room Tip: definetly would recommend the jacuzzi rooms

3rd visit. Amazing food once again. Good service and of course a wonderful location. However, at 5* prices you should expect everything to be impeccable, and it's not. First impressions are poor as you pull into the car park and immediately see two windows with badly peeling pain and a shabby sign. Regrettably this is carried throughout the hotel with chipped furniture, walls etc.

Credit to the chef - very talented, producing consistently superb food. Why no Michelin star? The wider issues are letting him down. At £300 odd a night it really should be top end, and it so easily can be.

Second time at yorebridge house and I can say its one of the best hotels in the area. The food is amazing and makes for a great stay, match this with the rooms with hot tubs and it does make a great hotel. However the service leaves a lot to be desired, on the night we stayed we where served by three french men, am not against french people however I think in a hotel who promotes local yorkshire food on there menu should have waiters who can tell you about the food instead of not being able to speak any english. As I said great hotel but the service is not good and let's the hotel down. Sort this problem and this could be the best hotel in the area.

This was our second visit to Yorebridge and we had booked the Ramoune room, a Moroccon themed room with private hot tub (we had stayed in Carabeo last time). The room had lovely decor and was nice and quiet. It is next to the main kitchen so I did worry to start with but never heard a peep! The hot tub was in a lovely private area just outside your room and the fencing had a gate which lead to the car park so we didn't have to drag the bags through the hotel. Receptionist very helpful and shows you how to use the hot tub.
The room has everything you need and lovely little touches like Moulton Brown bathroom goodies and a jar of cookies with a nice selection of teas/coffees. The bed was extremely comfy.
The hot tubs can be used as long as you want and we even manged to get 45 mins in there after breakfast and just before check out.
The dinnner service is very efficient and even though the waiters don't really speak very good english, this doesn't matter, they know the menu well enough (you just might have to repeat any requests to them).
Slight disappointment that they forgotten to bring us a bottle of wine that we had ordered before we sat down to eat but this mistake was noticed without us having to bring it to anyone's attention. Main course food was a little bland unfortunately (didn't think so the first time we stayed) but the starter and desert were lovely.
Breakfast choices were awesome - fruits, cereals, pastries and a nice varied cooked menu.
Would always recommend this hotel and we will be returning for a hot tub room in the future.

Room Tip: Book Ramoune, Nishiki and St Jean rooms for lovely private hot tubs right outside your room (not ove...

Arrived at Yorebridge Hotel after 90 min drive. First impressions - looked a bit unkempt, half-dead plants in pots, outside furniture that hadn't been cleaned/varnished in a long time, but surrounded by beautiful country views!

Was greeted in the car park by Dave, the owner, who offered to carry our bags in for us. Our room wasn't ready, so we went to the bar. The bar was comfortable, with jazz background music playing. Lunchtime menu had finished, but they russled up a hot beef sandwich and chips for us, must say, best beef sarnie ever had! The staff were all very friendly.

After a few drinks, were shown to our room - Rengali, with outside hot tub. Room was comfortable and warm. Description stated large, outside decking area, but it was gravelled and uncomfortable on your feet when getting to the hot tub. Only two steps up to the tub - could have done with a few more, as it was quite a stretch to get in, and was tricky to get out. Outside candles were provided (remember to take some matches). Hot tub was lovely and secluded, and had a gazebo over it - as there was a room overlooking above.

Large, comfy bed. DVD's free to hire. Tea making facilities. Nice, walk in shower. Could have done with a few more towels (for hot tub use).

At check in, was asked which morning paper we would like next day - but this wasn't delivered!

Breakfast was very tasty, with a large cooked selection. Waitresses seemed a bit clumsy, dropping cutlery, clattering plates about, and bringing us someone elses order!

This place is an expensive treat. We would visit again, but may wait until a special deal comes up.

Room Tip: Rengali room with hot tub, was private.
