This was a very friendly little tearoom in a lovely location which served a lovely salad and ploughman's, I would guess family run and well worth the little stop for refreshment. Even the toilet facility had an anti bacterial dispenser and lots of lotions and hand creams as well as soap and water and underline their care for the customer. We did not sample the cakes and pastries but they looked good too and heard other clients compliment the staff on these.

Came across this wonderful tea room whilst on a road trip to The Lake District. We both decided to have jacket potatoes with cheese, these came with a lovely salad and gorgeous chutney. The staff were very smiley and attentive. It was very peaceful and relaxing. We will be back!

I love tea shops in the Dales and this has to be one of the best. Super friendly service and always an amazing collection of delicious cakes. You'd be well advised to put this on your list of 'must visit' places!! :-)

Very friendly staff and ideal place for a light snack and drink. Location is in the village of Bainbridge and there is ample choice of food and drink for the often weary traveller!
We went in one day before the Tour de France came through the village and despite it being very busy the staff were very pleasant and accommodating.

I have already written a review about the Corn Mill Tearoom and complimented the lemon meringue pie - which I would say again is the finest I have ever tasted. Now I would urge you to try the Bakewell tart and white chocolate coconut slice (gluten free - who'd have known?) which are also home made by Angela and both LOVELY! This is a unique establishment who don't blow their own trumpet enough. GO NOW! I am looking forward to another visit during the Tour de France weekend for a bacon sarny in the morning and some home baking in the afternoon.
