I spent 9 nights till when I decided to check out and the hotel was discriminating.
Very disappointed on the whole process and wished if I could check out earlier if I knew what the management would do.

I checked in and the cashier decided to swipe two nights out of my credit card initially as deposit. After some nights, I was served with a letter that I had to make the full payment else...
I was shocked and approached the reception to learn that the management had decided to issue the letter specially for me and there was no such rules. I did not like the attitude and knew exactly what they meant by the letter (I was going to run away). I settle the entire bill on the spot and notified the management that I was not happy with the special treatment which had not reaction.

Restaurant
Breakfast was adequate with all the basics served

Currency Exchange
The Hotel had a rate of 7000 Ksh on every 100$
You could easily get 8300 Ksh on 100$ in the city

It would cost you 1500 Ksh to go to the city and back.

Rooms
Superior rooms are very good, but you should try and get the one's on the top floor. I spent 9 night on the ground floor. Requested to be shifted but the "management" thought it was just not that important. Initially I was told they were occupied, after a few night and a few good tips from the workers, I understood the top floor were meant for Europeans only.

Reception
Day reception were kind and nice. Night reception were rude and practically referred you to day reception on every request. If you have any request, wait for day light.

Room Tip: On Superior rooms, the 1st and 2nd floor are worth the money. Ground floor would just be like taking...

Dear Saud,

It was such a pleasure to read your valuable comments after your last stay with us. Thank you for taking time to complete this review. We do take time to read all reviews and we take all comments seriously and use these as a basis for improvements and training. In reference to the comments raised, please note that we treat all our guests equally without any reference to their origin, culture, religion or race. Upon check in, you were supposed to settle your accommodation in full for your 5 day stay but due to an error, you only paid for 2 days hence this lead to your room account exceeding our Credit Floor Limit. In this scenario, our Financial Controller wrote a polite reminder to you amongst All the other direct paying guests and advised you to make arrangements to deposit more money to bring your Credit in Line. This is our Hotel Credit Policy which is applicable to all our Customers without any discrimination whatsoever. The exchange rate that you quoted above is correct and we have had a look at the same and this anomaly has been rectified. It is also important to note that our Rates may not always be as high as the Bank and having Barclays Bank next to our Hotel is a big advantage for our esteemed Customers. As a choice, Customers may also opt to go to the City where they get even better exchange Rates, but this is left entirely at the Customers’ discretion. As far as your request for Top Floor Superior Sea View Rooms was concerned, none was available during the period you stayed with us and apart from a few Rooms which are blocked on a back to back basis for the Italian Airline Company, any other Room Upstairs would have been availed to you if at all any was available. There seems to have been a communication breakdown on our part for which we sincerely apologize. This is to re-assure you that we take all feedback positively and we shall therefore take necessary measures to rectify all the anomalies you brought to our attention to ensure that you and all our other Customers enjoy their holidays with us in the future. We wish to thank you for taking the time to write to us and this gesture was highly appreciated. It will definitely be our pleasure to welcome you back again & should you need any assistance in getting the Room of Your Choice in the future, please feel free to reach me at gm@travellershtl.com

Stayed as part of a conference. Not expensive at all. Rooms are very average but spacious and with aircon. Never seen so many pools at any hotel, and all beautifully clean. Breakfast is adequate with most of the basics. Bar on the beach a lovely place to sit & chill.

This hotel has Everything you could ask for in a country like Kenya. The hotel is very clean and most of the staff is nice and social. The hotel is placed by the sea and the beach is lovely!
We paid to get breakfast and dinner included that I could really recommened. But dont buy all inclusive. Go down on the beach and walk a bit to the left and you will find a lot of good places that have great lunch!
And dont forget to take a walk out during the day when the water goes a way for a few hours, when you could see a lot of different fish! But dont forget to put some shoes on!!!
This hotel is for everyone and there is several pools and a lot of different food to choose from!

Last but not least. When you go to Kenya bring stuff to give away, like pencils, books, paper, soup, schampoo, clothes, toys. There is a lot of people in need of a bit of everything!

Room Tip: pay for the seaview but not on groundlevel there is a lot of insects. And dont forget to Close the w...

We have stayed at Travellers Club many times over the last few years and have never been disapointed . The staff will do anything to make you feel welcome ,The rooms are quite spacious and spotlessly clean also really comfortable .The food is very good and there is a good choice to pick from .The waiters and waitresses are very friendly and efficient and the dining area is nice and airy ,The hotel is situated on the north coast so it is in a good position to get into Mombasa or the other tourist sites .eg Haller Park .Mamba Village Bombaloolou ,The hotel also is just across the road from the butterfly park and it is a lovely walk around and shaded for an afternoon stroll. There is a bank just down the road and always taxi's and tut tuts outside the hotel who are willing to bargain with you for a fair price ..We have also booked safari's with Nixon of the beach and have never been done down .There is a supermarket about 5 minutes down the road where you can buy virtually anything (We mostly go in a tut tut but have also travelled in the matartas at times which is quite an experience if you have a good sense of adventure .We are returning to Travellers again in Sept for 3 weeks after our safari holiday .It is a good place to chill and relax by the lovely swimming pools and bars .There is entertainment every night and plenty of restaurants and nightclubs not far away if you want to sample the nightlife

Room Tip: We prefer to be on the 2nd floor and in the rooms closest to the beach

Located on Bamburi beach and it has access to the public beach. We were offered connected rooms on ground floor. Most of the rooms have balcony which is facing the sea. Their pool is good. Breakfast and Dinner was OK. Free Wi-Fi is available in the room.

Room Tip: Get a room on higher floor.

We stay here every January for our main holiday. The staff ( including management ) are fantastic and always willing to help. We stay in the club side which is all inclusive, the food is great, especially breakfast. The rooms are large and spotless, the cleaners really take pride in their jobs. We have been coming here for over ten years and would highley recommend this hotel. Children love the place and are kept busy with the animation programme, the beach and sea are great, yes there are beach vendors pedling there wares, a polite no is usually enough to get your point across, they are omly trying to get by and make a living.

Room Tip: If you want a quiet room ask for a room near the top pool, you can't hear anything up there.
