Great holiday in the very comfortable pet friendly cottage in a great location for walks. Floor warmer was a nice touch. Kitchen well appointed etc.
Great location with breathtaking views from the cottage and great walks from the front door. Comfortable beds, quality finish to cottage, everything you would need in the kitchen, cosy sitting room with real fire.
Everything here was perfect, the cottage, the views, the location. Even the weather, for November! Very relaxing break.
The four of us had to miss the 1st night due to the weather...Snow . 2nd day we were successful. But due to previous occupants they couldn't get out of the accommodation we had to stay in the Sheep shack accross the way.
I might say this place was also very homely ,warm, plenty of hot water. Really nice.
Anyways Harolds farm was just as good.
Couple of area's that needs a little tlc but hey, these buildings were build in the early
17th hundreds adding to the character.
Great base for walking. Lovely quite area
scenery spot on.
Definitely recommend these two buildings to stay in.
Great location near to the pretty village of Hayfield, in a lovely farm setting, with wonderful views. Perfect base for exploring. Characterful and well-equipped cottage. We'll be back!
Warm, plenty of hot water, clean, very comfortable, soft bed linen, very well-stocked kitchen, lovely views. Good location for walks, serious hikes or just pub lunches and dinners. We have nothing bad to say and had a very enjoyable and break and recommend Harold's Farm.
Harold’s Farm is gorgeous. It is decorated so nicely, the kitchen and bedrooms are particularly grand - especially the master!
It is located on a hill with great views, in walking distance to Hayfield village and the reservoir - both walks we enjoyed very much. Millie’s tea room in the village is highly recommended. Dinner at the Lamb Inn in Chinley was also a highlight.
Michael was very helpful with arrival information, and we had everything we needed in the house - having wood to make a fire was great. All in all we had a perfect girl’s weekend in the Peaks.
