“Good value”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 6, 2014

Pretty average buffet, lots of regulars appear to eat here. Good value, and a nice salad bar--the okra pickles stood out.

Basket of bread includes fry bread, which is reason enough to go here. Waitress was sweet and gave us the senior discount!

Be sure to pop into the gift shop next door.

“A favorite in Tahlequah!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 8, 2013

A favorite and must visit for our family when we are in Tahlequah. Good old down home food. Biscuits & gravy, ham, and all the stuff grandpa eats. Excellent service. Feels like home.

“Buffet, Big, Bountiful, and Beautiful”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 8, 2013

What a bargain! This restaurant is a buffet right on the highway just north of Tahlequah, OK and adjacent to a wonderful Cherokee Nation Art & Gift Shop. The food was wonderful and diverse and was a great value. The service was fast and friendly and the facilities were spotless. It was a treat to find this place after spending the day touring the historic area around the Cherokee Nation Capitol.

“Better than some, but not tops”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 23, 2013

We ate there today and found the buffet pretty tasty, but a bit overpriced. We had to ask for bread, and halfway through the meal they brought us some. The fry bread and honey was delicious....also the catfish was good. I could have made a meal just on the fish, beans and fry bread! Don't come here wanting lots of dessert...only one dessert was on the buffet....a so-so cake.

“Good food and friendly people”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 8, 2013

We used to eat at another Talehquah rest. every year after floating the river. Service became really bad. Last year we tried Restaurant of the Cherokees and loved it. Went back this year and had an even better experience. 12 of us walked in and were welcomed with open arms. The staff was very friendly. The food was delivered in quick time and the quality was top notch. This IS our new yearly river breakfast stop.
