“Great service and great food”
Reviewed September 29, 2012

Went there twice in a week for lunch when in town for work. I had pizza both times and it was realyl good. The service was great and friendly. The only downside was that it seemed to take a little while to get the pizzas...but hey, I'll wait if it means it's going to be that good :)

The Guy who wrote the review on Sept 3 is out of his mind!!! What a creep! Homemade dough, fresh grated cheese off the block, hand chopped ingredients top shelf all the way! Zesty wonderful sauce, Topped with Basil and parmesan cheese, amazing pizza, crisp salads fantastic every single time without exception.

“Popular”

Very popular locally. Good thick crust pizza and large salads. Sometimes the kitchen is a bit slow, but it is worth the wait.

“Microwave Pizza Anyone?”
Reviewed September 3, 2012

The pizza tasted like a pizza kit that you would get from a big box store. I guess they don't know what basil, oregano, and garlic are in Tahlequah?
The sauce had absolutely no flavor what so ever. It was like watered down tomato juice. It was completely devoid of any herbs or spices.
The crust again had no flavor. It tasted exactly like the crust from a pizza kit from the grocery store. The cheese tasted like low fat skim milk cheese which again had no flavor. As if that was not bad enough, once we got the check we were amazed that they would charge so much for such crappy food. Digiorno would have been much better. Even if you don't factor in price, but with the price anything beats this place.
I will say that there was no shortage of fat people scarfing this "pizza" down like it was their last meal. God Bless America!

“Best Pizza in Oklahoma!”
Reviewed August 29, 2012

This is a PIZZA place, and the play on its name is only the beginning of the fun. Located in the neat older part of downtown across from the park, you can sit inside or out. If you are visiting NSU - plan to put Sam & Ella's on your itinerary. Be sure to take along a hearty appetite - you won't be disappointed. Abundant cheese and generous toppings are piled high on thick and chewey crust, baked to perfection. Any one of their menu choices is a winner. Sauce is exceptional. For non pizza fans, the stuffed mushrooms are a meal all by themselves. The salds have been consistently fresh - a biggie for me. If you can, try to sit where you can watch them hand toss the dough. These pizzas are big, so plan to share.
