“Medieval charm in the Gran Sasso!”
Reviewed April 8, 2013

Quiet in the winter months, but a lovely little borgo. Worth a day trip out of Rome, or better yet stay the night at the Albergo Diffuso!

“Medieval and just amazing ♥”
Reviewed January 29, 2013

Like stepping into a movie.
Absolutely beautiful, scenic and oh so quiet.
Loved the dog and cats running around the town and they all tried to charme themselves to a treat of cuddle and a kiss or two. Which they all (ofcourse) got.

“Divine location”
Reviewed December 14, 2012

We enjoyed our three day stay there. The village is small, but extremely weel preserved. Local people are really kind and helpful. We stayed in December, it snowed, and this gave the whole village a totally magic feel to it. The surroundings are great, we loved Rocca Calascio.
