We went as a family trip. We were 5 couples, plus one kid.
The accommodation was very cute and cozy. Each couple had its own little house. :)
The staff is very friendly (that includes the dogs, who escort you all the way to your doorstep. Lol)
Breakfast was copious and good.

Only hick was the 'hot' water which was only lukewarm... But when we mentioned it, the staff seemed sincerely apologetic and gave us all a book with the history of the site.

Also, dinner was ok. The antipasti was delicious and fresh, but the rest of the courses were just about average.

I would still recommend this for a weekend getaway, as the location is just fantastic.

The food is as "slow" as one could imagine : home-made, local products, honest, pure tastes and delicious !. Every meal was a feast and partial (re)discovery of what good food really should taste like. No nitrogen, foams nor any other culinary affectation and frivolity. Simple and honest local wines (Vermentino and Canonnau) and I can recommend trying the "white" Mirto (made of the leaves of the myrtle plant) , after dinner. If you want to find out for yourself ; please go and enjoy !.

For some seriously excellent Northern Sardinian cuisine, get away from the beaches and head for the hills. Il Muto di Gallura is as good as "agroturismo" gets and the setting among the soaring rocks outside Tempio Pausania just adds to the occasion. It's a set menu with unlimited red and white wine – so bring a designated driver. Also, a hearty appetite because you won't go away hungry. The wine is excellent as are the cured meats, cheeses, breads, pickles, pastas, goat, roast pork, pastries, tiramisu and grappa, all produced on the farm or nearby. In summer there's the added pleasure of the light fading behind the spectacular rocks over Aggius. At €35 a head it's an occasion, but worth every cent.

I stayed here when I was looking for a house in the village and returned a couple of years later with friends who were visiting.
The quality of the ingredients is peerless - I've since got to know the gentleman who picks the wild mushrooms for them - and if you're looking to sample traditional cooking you won't find better than this.
Make sure you're hungry when you visit though.
It may seem expensive but that's down to the seemingly endless number of courses rather than any desire to rip people off.
Not somewhere to stop off if you're just looking for a snack then.

If you really want to feel the Sardinian taste and tradition, this is the right place for you. It is located in a huge property where they grow their own vinyards, fruit trees and have their sheep and pigs farming.Everything you eat there is home made and the menu is already made for you. You only need to be very hungry so that you can appreciate each course (and they are many!!). For me the absolutely best is "zuppa sarda" (the literal translation is Sardinian soup but actually it is something more similar to a "lasagna" than a soup), a very typical and traditional dish. When make reservation I recommend you ask for a table on the terrace, where you have a beautiful view of the mountains around with the lights of Aggius on one side and Tempio Pausania on the other.
