The Rainbow Pool is located in the Showa Kinen Park in Tachikawa, in west Tokyo.

NOTE: This pool has very strict rules, that are NOT listed on their website!!

==MUST READ!==

1. NO Tattoos of any kind, small or large.
2. No Necklaces, Bracelets, Watches, or Rings of any kind.
3. NO EARRINGS!! They will not recognize, nor acknowledge, your religious beliefs, in the name of safety, they say.
4. No Cell-Phones or Cameras allowed in the pool. (Even in a waterproof case or GoPro.)
5. No Photography, if your feet or any part of your body is touching the water, of any of the pools, then you will be given a Yellow Card!
6. No 2 or more kid on "1 float" of any kind.
7. No Alcoholic Beverages. (Understand that one...)
8. No Cans or Bottles allowed. (Understand that one...)
9. No Mafia Members allowed. (Understand that one...)
10. No kids under 120cm allowed on the water slides, even with an adult. (WHAT!?)

…And, the list goes on!...

However, they do allow "opposite gender children" in the locker rooms and showers, up to the age of 10 years, unaccompanied and naked, running around the locker room like wild animals!! (WTF!?) The pool was also "FILTHY" with bugs and leaves!

*Overall, I rate our experience at this pool, on a scale of 1 to 10, “10 being the best”, a 1-!!

You have “NO” freedom here, and every time you turn around, the Lifeguards are blowing the whistle at you or your children. It's kind of like going through TSA at the airport!!

I really hate giving bad reviews, but the pool staff was the worst of the worst!!

We went there to enjoy the pool and to have fun. We didn't go there to be yelled at like little kids, by people 20 years younger than us! Sorry, but our family will not be returning to this pool, ever!

Save your money and time, and go to Yomiuri Land Pool, if you are visiting Tokyo with the kids!!

I have spent several times in this park biking, playing, picnic, etc. Any season would be a great time to visit but the best for me is Autumn. It is huge, clean, and safe even with small kids.

Great park for about 450 yen entry fee for adults, you get to have a great experience with a lot of things to do: rent a bike, boating on the lake, ride with a small train on wheels, hiking spots, lots of kids playgrounds, barbecue area, amazing tulips gardens in spring time and probably many more. It's a huge area, so walking on foot could be exhausting, but renting a bike for about 420 yen for 3 hours seems a pretty good deal. There are places to rest, eat, drink, toilets, so all the commodities needed. Make sure to respect the closing hours, as in weekdays it's open until 17:00 and on weekends until 18:00. Have a great time!

Absolutely stunning gorgeous tulips! Park is huge, tulips is only part of it. Wide varieties of tulips unbelievable beautiful! Pond with reflection surrounded by tulips, there are tulips with cherry blossom, tulips with lavender, so lavish, absolutely astonishing! Pretty cute dogs dressed up for photos, lovely!

Took train to Tachikawa, quite far walk to tulips section but nice walk passing by dog run park, fountain, playground, café, restaurant.. Enjoyed Japanese curry fried chicken with rice & coffee, awesome facing tulips!

Thanks for such a beautiful outsanding tulips park!

Some tourists very inconsiderate, step into tulips ground to take photo, told them not suppose to cross over! thot that's common sense..
