All the previous reviewers appear to have been French and have been a bit sniffy, which is a bit unfair.
Certainly the outside is not enticing and struggling through the garden to a closed front door in a large and run down looking house was not encouraging. Was there really a restaurant here?
However, once inside the door we were greeted and hosted by the friendly owner, Valerie, and seated in a comfortable room with well presented tables.
The menu is limited but the table d'hote menu was really very good and reasonably priced. Both the entree and dessert courses were a selection of items, all attractively done and tasty. Indeed both courses were substantial. The main course choice was limited, but the lamb shank and fish which we chose were quite adequate.
We came away well satisfied.
