We had Sunday lunch at Le Charleston and it was great. The menu was not huge but offered enough selection including a-la-carte and menu selections. While we were waiting for our meal we were presented with a taster bowl of langoustine bisque, which my family said was lovely. At the same time they served our daughter's children's meal. Our meals arrived with fresh bread rolls and were all well cooked and very tasty. Each and every plate was cleared. For dessert my husband has the nougat ice cream and my father the ile flotant. They were both delicious. As an added bonus we were also served a small selection of homemade petit four style sweets - mini choc chip cookie, mini meringue, mini coconut macaroons and small chocolates. The ambience was lovely and the staff attentive. As customers arrived and left everyone greeted each other - very French. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for well cooked simple food as a very reasonable price. We paid just over €100 for 4 main course, 1 child meal, 2 desserts, 0.5l rosé wine and 2 aperitifs.
