The apartment is family friendly and reasonably spacious, the main bedroom has a 'to die for' view, as does the balcony. There is a well equipped kitchen so cooking 'at home' is easy. It is in the most perfect location for the beach (and spectacular sunsets), just some steps and then you're there. The beach is large and sandy although the shoreline on this stretch is a bit rocky (perfect for snorkelling), however, a 5 minute walk further along and there are no rocks at all. The town itself is quiet, well looked after, and not at all touristy. There is a good take-away pizza place right by the apartment, a rather nice, but small, grocers in the town, and a bar/coffee shop/restaurant. The restaurant was ok, but we found a couple of fantastic places about a 10 minute drive away. There is a choice of supermarkets in Bosa, about a 10-15 minute drive away. Bosa's medieval town and castle are well worth a visit. A hire car is definitely needed. Giancarlo was very helpful.
You'll need to hire a car to get here and the local mini market is pretty minimal (great fresh bread everyday though and run by a lovely couple!) so you need to go into Bosa (5km) for supermarket shopping. The local restaurants are a short drive away - not really walkable. Gianluca was very quick indeed in responding to anything we flagged up - the fridge broke one night and he had a new one installed by noon the following day.
