Stayed here for our one night in Pompeii. In hindsight we should of picked somewhere close to train as this hotel is about 15 min away. We thought it would be charming but it was really just cheesy. Our second room was great. First room was just horrible. Looked dirty it was so old. Also had two beds, a queen and twin, less then 6 in from each other. It was complete with a large pink crucifix at the head of the queen bed. I should have taken pictures but I was too irritated after struggling to get to the place.
I will say the staff was great and quickly got us into a better room right away. We did enjoy some spritz drinks at the bar and the bartender was very friendly as well.
Overall not the quirky experience we thought it would be.More
