stayed a weekend with family and friends. fantastic. beautiful surroundings, vineyards, hotel, etc. very friendly personnel. classic but luxerious rooms. well worth a trip tp see how good wine is made and to taste it!
- Free Wifi
- Free Parking
Stayed for one night as part of a 19 strong group visiting a local pharmaceutical plant. The hotel looks really great - both inside and out. The attached vineyard and winery is stunning and well worth a visit.
The only negative comments I would make are:
- rooms are a litle old fashioned and a simple make over would improve this e.g. window shutters that were difficult to open, hangers in the ancient wardrobe with raffle ticket numbers sellotaped on., air conditioning that did not work. Also the rooms could use having simple amenities like international satellite TV and an ironing board / iron installed.
- noise: unfortunately the hotel is quite near a major motorway so if you open the windows there is some noise from that
- breakfast - not what we would have expected - mostly fruits, cakes and various breads. You can't get toast or a cooked breakfast.
Apart from that it is a great place.
