This place is great. Location is tranquil, green with rolling hills out in the country. Very relaxing. The staff are super friendly, helpful and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. The rooms are great and cosy. When we arrived it rained most of the weekend. The rooms are beautifully decorated, heater inthe bathroom, heated towel racks, theres a fire place in each room and wood topped up daily, electric blanket. We were very cosy. We were travelling with our 9 month old baby, a cot was provided in our room and a high chair at th Bistro restuarant. We had also booked to have dinner at the Bistro but when it started raining we did not want to leave our room and they were more than happy to send our food to our room.
The food is soo tasty and amazing. They make their own mix muesli tha my husband loved and bought a bag from them.
It was my birthday weekend and they had a cake delivered to my room which was special. The morning of my b-day i was a bit dissappointed though as they burnt my pancakes and my bacon was dry and almost burnt;(
We also struggled to connect to WiFi in our room, but at the bar inside it connected with no issues.
I also went to the spa on the venue and my experience there was lovely, tranquil and relaxing.
