I had a great stay at this beautiful guesthouse whilst attending a wedding which is very conveniently located in Durbanville and a mere 40 minute drive from the airport. The room was very comfortable with the owner Linda Coetzee really going the extra mile. Breakfast was delicious and I would definitely stay over at this guesthouse again in future.

Schoongezicht Guesthouse is ideally situated in a quiet and leafy part of Durbanville. The guesthouse has a warm, comfortable, and welcoming feel to it. The suites are spotless with all creature comforts catered for. Linda was most welcoming and made us feel straight at home. We highly recommend staying here when visiting Cape Town.

Our family and a friend stayed at Schoongezicht for the evening before the Cape Epic prologue. Linda and Abrie were warm, welcoming hosts and nothing was too much trouble. They made us feel right at home. We have 3 kids (now 4!) and that was no problem. It's child friendly too. The rooms were clean, comfortable and they have the best showers. All in all a comfortable and happy place to stay. X

What a great experience! Such amazing hospitality by two lovely, warm and friendly people, Linda and Abrie. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt at home immediately. The guest house is comfortable, well appointed and well situated for Cape Town, Paarl or Stellenbosch but is out of the traffic hub. Great area with lovely shops and restaurants. Lovely stay!

Room Tip: We had an en suite as well as an adjoining room for our child with his own bathroom - more of a suit...

I stayed in the Schoongezicht Guesthouse, for two weeks with five of my friends.
Having arrived in Cape Town without any luggage and quite stressed out, the minute we drove in the gates, everything just seemed a whole lot better. Linda and Ab are the most friendliest and warm people I probably have ever met and went above and beyond to help us and ensure our holiday would be one to remember. From ringing airlines, to directions and advice and little chats, the truely are amazing and exceptional hosts.
The rooms are so beautiful and the decor was so amazing and each room had its only little patio area under the vines in the middle of a garden which should most definately enter the Chelsea Flower show!! Sitting outside while watching the world go by was never so much fun.

Breakfast every morning was like a photograph from the best food magazines and cookbook, Nigella needs to pull up her socks as Linda is the most amazing cook ever. Getting out of bed was never so exciting!!!! And by the time I got back from breakfast, my room was gleaming clean with freshly cut roses placed in the bathrooms and delicious cookies and rusks werre in the cookie jars! Thank you Wendy x
The swimming pool was fabulous was gleaming and has the best area for chilling out and sunbathing and relaxing.
We even had a bbq one night , where Linda prepared the most beautiful table outside by candle light for all of us.
My time in Cape Town was amazing but the best memories I have are of my stay in the Schoongezicht Guesthouse, I could keep writing and writing all day!
This place is a little hidden treasure, and a MUST FOR EVERYONE and will be my first port of call when I return to Cape Town. Simply amazing.

Room Tip: There are three rooms/ suites all are as nice as each other but mine was my favourite the Lavender s...
