First off I should say that the family that run Deniz are really friendly and we all enjoyed their efforts to make our stay pleasant. But there were a few things which made our stay less than perfect.
In terms of the good stuff, great to have free Wi-Fi and the rooms were modern and clean. The hotel, which is motel style and away from the hotels on the river for which Adrasan is known, is set in a pleasant garden. And we enjoyed a simple fish supper cooked by the family.
In terms of improvement, the food could be improved. It was simple and pretty basic and we were limited portion-wise when it came to the main dish. Also at breakfast we had to ask for omelettes otherwise we would have been left to simple salad. Orange juice would have been nice too.
Whilst the rooms were nice and clean, some of our party found the beds hard and we were all freezing in the night. Blankets in all the rooms would have been good. Also there is no sound insulation from the rest of the hotel. The most frustrating point, however, was the total lack of communal rooms. There is an eating area, which doubles up as the four-generation family sitting room, but you are strongly encouraged to leave at 9. And there is nowhere else to go. So if you're not used to retiring early and don't fancy shlepping to the other hotels for a drink, you will be frustrated.
