Since moving to Sicily in March, Donna Fortunata has become mine and my husbands favorite restaurant! The Diavola pizza is always delicious and they have a large menu selection. Our only issue is that a couple of the waitors only speak some English. That caused some confusion about a price of their beer, and we ended up paying much more than he had said we would.

Visited on a summer evening, which made it warm inside. Food was delicious. Service was amazingly nice. The chef let my two year old have some dough to play with and made "magic" fire in the authentic brick oven. Everything was delicious from wine and bruschetta to pizza and dessert (tiramisu)!

They also keep hours similar to American eating time due to the large amount of American's in the area. We arrived between 5:30/6:00 in the evening.

We stopped off in Motta after a flight in the evening. There was a festival in the town with a street barbecue but we preferred a sit down meal. The entrance to the restaurant is an alleyway type but leads to a downstairs area with a huge pizza oven. However we went through to a cooler back room which was quite nice. The waitress was very friendly and the place started to fill up. The food here was delicious and reasonablely priced too. We all had good tasty food which was a great start to our holiday. We would definitely return here again.
Perfecto!

We stopped here on accident, as our usual place was closes and there was a festival going on, we ducked into a dimly lit alley and stumbled into this place! Everyone was friendly and accomadating to our group of 8, we had more than enough food and the ambiance was very homey. Appetizers were pleasantly huge, and my only complain was it was very warm, due to the brick over and they didn't close that door, even partially. It's actually pretty decenntly priced and the seasones breaded swordfish is the best I've had yet.
