Mirmande on its own is well worth a visit but when you can combine it with a meal at the Margot it makes for the best of times.
Mirmande is just off our regular route from The Swiss Rhine Valley to The Costa Blanca and I always try and time the 15 hour drive so that we have a real chance of taking lunch at the Margot. Summertime is best when you can sit outside under the vines and not only drink the excellent house wine but the wonderfull village atmosphere and watch the commings and goings fo the local farmners delivering their wares to the excellent kitchen.
Location-The historic and picturesque village of Mirmande.
Greeting-Always warm, always friendly.
Menu-Limited by the freshest of local ingredients.
Food-Always excellent. On this occasion I enjoyed local lamb and my wife had duck.
Price-Modest for such a treat.
