We had a fantastic two night stay in early May. We stayed in a room called the little fish. It was a totally individual design as was the whole of the hotel. The spa was a very special event as we had sole use of it with candles. The garden had sun beds and child friendly areas. The evening dinner was a truly gastro experience and the trilogy of the ocean was memorable. The breakfast was varied and very French - yummy. We will return and thank you so much

Room tip: Variety available including duplex family rooms

Right from the start we knew that we have chosen the right hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff, super comfy bed in a large room, and an excellent chief that really knows how to cook fish well. All this along with the fact that our little dog was made very welcome added up to a great short break.

Room tip: They have very large rooms with direct access to a wooded garden, great for if you have a dog

Clean basic rooms with everything you need set in woodland close (maybe a little beyond walking distance but only a few minutes drive) to the beatiful village of Locronan. The hotel may be slightly dated but is impeccably maintained, clean and very comfortable. The staff were all ultra friendly especially our welcome by the young lady who checked us in - a really nice touch considering the less than competent service we had received the previous nights stay in Vannes. All in all, great value for money and a stay I would unreservedly recommend to anyone. Dogs welcome too.

We stayed for one night early August and due to one of our group being a little under the weather we arrived at the hotel early to check in (around 1200) we thought there would be no chance, but the friendly staff who did speak good English allowed us to check in...great!
The reception area was well decorated and also within this area was a small corner for the little ones, with a few toys and puzzles etc, this kept our little one quiet for a few minutes.
On arrival into our family room we were AMAZED at the size, walking into the room (109 Zanzibar) on the left was a bathroom with a good size bath and shower over then to the left a good sized double bed room, with a large double, a desk with two chairs as well as a small table with two chairs as well, this was not it though, we had a staircase (steep) which led to an upstairs second bedroom with twin single beds in and an en suite including a shower cubicle, overall I would say that this was at least double the size of most family hotel rooms.
Decor downstairs was very blue but felt quite in theme with the reception, when you went upstairs it felt a little dated and the decor was different again, neither some old stained red carpet.
Overall the room felt adequately clean (far from spotless but ok) and the beds were very comfortable.
The location was also very nice, 5 mins drive from Locronan with plenty of parking in the wooded area that surrounded the hotel, which was pleasant, and out the back of the hotel there was a wooden playground for the kids as well as a Wendy type house and trampoline (again kept the little one active for a while).
We did not eat at the hotel so I can't comment on that but overall a very nice place.
One minor negative was that the wifi was not working in our room and even though you could find it when you tried to log in the system wanted an admin password that no one on site knew how to resolve, you could use the wifi at reception but it would not get to the room which was a bit of a pain as we needed to do some work while on site requiring wifi.

On the plus side, although the hotel was a bit of a challenge to find driving in the dark, it was worth looking for. It is nice and quiet with lovely grounds and a large, (free), car park. We were greeted warmly and were able to order some drinks to take to our room. Our rooms & bathroom were very clean, (if somewhat spartan). The bedrooms were large, with a double bed downstairs and an upstairs with beds for the our adult children. There is a play area in the front of the lobby, with lots of toys, (a plus if you have kids - for a romantic getaway, not so much.

On the minus side, there were a few small issues. Breakfast is not included, rather, it is an additional 9 euros pp. When I asked, upon check-in, what was on the breakfast buffet, I was told that, although there were no eggs, the breakfast was ad lib and included meats and cheeses. However, when we arrived in the breakfast room in the morning, there was a sign that stated that meats and cheeses were provided upon request. I had to go out to the front desk and request these and a small plate of meats and cheeses was brought to our table, (albeit, I felt, grudgingly). I did not feel it was an adequate portion for 4 adults, however, didn't bother asking for more. The other problem was that the stairs to the upstairs bedroom did not have any non-slip covering, (as our son discovered), and were not lighted, (at least that we were able to find). It is a bit out-of-town, so you do need a car to drive in and park.

On balance, I would say that this was a good budget option for families.
