We stayed 2 nights (25.th and 26.th April 2008) in a double room "Ballade". Very efficient check in. The rooms are available from 3 PM. If you arrive earlier, you can use the SPA until the room will be ready. The hotel gives a brown bracelet to go there and you can leave your baggage in a very comfortable changing room. The hotel provides a bags with bathrobe and towels so you can go to the faboulous pools. In the afternoon, at the time you want go to the room, they change your bracelet with a new one wich enable you to charge everything you want to the bill of the room both in the hotel or in the SPA. The bracelet is your room key. The rooms are very nice and really clean. Our king bed was comfortable. There is a balcony and a beautiful bathroom with complimentary bath set. The food in the "Sinngenuss" restaurant (in the evening) is faboulous: a wide range of cold buffet and in addiction you can choose from a normal menù, a vegetarian menù or a light one (under 500 kcal). The staff is really friendly and efficent. An absolute must is to go to the SPA after dinner (it's open until 11 PM and some Fridays until 12 PM) and then to the lobby bar: live music and good drinks and cocktails. If it's possible, the buffet breakfast is more better than the dinner: everything is really fresh and you can find almost what you need.
The SPA is the best and clean i ever seen: just go to Aqua Dome, don't waste your time in another place!!! This is not a normal SPA, this is "THE SPA"!!! And the view over the Oetztaler Alpen from the outside bowl-shaped pools is unforgettable. The menù at the "Einkehr" restaurant is not wide but the food is good, the staff friendly and there is the possibility to try some good meals from a seasonal-menù with tirolean specialties. The day you leave, for 11 Euro, you can stay in the SPA until it close and the use of the hotel changing room is free. In summer or in winter the Aqua Dome is a perfect place to spend your holidays.
I will go back to the "Aqua Dome" as soon as possible!!!

our recent but short stay at this hotel was an absolute positive experience. this includes rooms , food, service and of course the spa.

I see some comments mentioning the high tariff- pls note that that includes the entrance to the spa areas so in total its not too bad.

Absolutely recommended.

We took a chance booking this hotel just based on the photos of the wacky outside thermal pools (like wine glasses) and some postive reviews on tripadvisor. It is a great hotel with a fabulous spa. The mere entrance tunnels are a work of art with blue lights or sparkly ones, giant artworks on the walks and calming therapeutic music. The outdoor pools are heated to a lovely warm temperature and are usuable all year. There are some rules on kids in the pool areas but generally they are allowed in almost all the pools and this makes a nice change from the non family friendly spas that seem to predominate.

Children are, however, not allowed in the Therme area where the steam and sauna rooms are. This is again a lovely area with its own private pool and relaxation room with running water ornaments throughout. Nudity seems to be the norm but anything goes.

The rooms were also great for families with interconnecting rooms with two bathrooms being easily available. These rooms were of a good size and nicely decorated with a welcome addition of a balcony to enjoy the stunning scenery outside.

We travel alot and tend to stay at 'higher' class hotels than this so were a little shocked by the lack of room service and the very limited dinner menu (we were on half board). Basically dinner was often an either or choice which could be tricky for fussy eaters. However the food was of excellent quality and several courses were included in the price. Breakfast was excellent too and the wine list suprisingly extensive.

The main fault with staying here was how busy everything seemed. The public are not allowed access to the spa/pools till 10am and after 10am things became uncomfortably busy. The kids water slide had queues so long it was pointless going on it other than between 9 and 10am. It just ruined the lovely facilities by letting in too many people. This is obviously not unusual as there are 3 floors of sun loungers overlooking the indoor pool which kind of indicates that this is always a heavily used facility.

Overall this is a great hotel and in a fab location but bear in mind it is very popular.

After a roundtrip by bus in Germany and Austria, we ended in Tirol and Langenfeld. The Aqua Dome was beautiful situated in the valley, with the breathtaking mountains surrounding it.
The hotel was excellent. The rooms are big, and having a balcony with chairs and a little table. In the big bathroom you’ll find a robe to wear under your stay.
The food is great and you have a lot to do The "Therme" is interesting with its exiting outdoor pools. You can find saunas and pools for everyone at the "dome". The staff is nice and very helpful. This is a place for relaxation.

I stayed there twice, last winter and now again. The rooms are nice, the hotel is great, but not as luxurious as the price would suggest. My advice is to only go there during the week, because than the price is o.k. and the spa is empty. On the weekends it is so full, there are no seats free and in the sauna people are sitting so close to you that they are touching you. during the week it is great!

Five days family skiing in Solden. Hired a car at the airport and drove there. Stayed in this spacious contemporary hotel approx 8 miles down the valley in Langenfeld and drove to the multistorey carpark next to the lifts each day. Got a Junior suite for the 4 of us. Very large and comfortable. 2 bathrooms in our suite had Alessi taps and Phillipe Starck basins - all very cool style and well planned. Price of 470 euros/night included breakfast and evening meal. Some nights there was a buffet service, other nights it was table service. We were very impressed with the quality and range of dishes offered. The waiter spoke limited English so you might wish to take a dictionary to the restaurant if you want to be sure what you are eating as the dishes are labelled only in German.
The spa and outdoor hot pools were lovely. The children loved the water chute - especially when it went pitch black inside and disco lights then started flashing. Also very relaxing underwater music. The hotel also has a range of activities each day e.g. bike rides, hikes, cross-country run, tour of spa technical areas, tour of wine cellar with sommellier, etc for non-skiers, plus aerobics sessions and gym. Games room with playstations and table football for the kids.
One of the nicest hotels we have stayed in.

We stayed 5 nights in this new, cool 4 plus star hotel. The rooms are big, very comfortable and beautiful decorated (modern, lot's of wood and natural stone). The hotel is connected by a corridor with the aqua-dome Spa. Between 7 and 10 in the morning the use of the spa is reserved for hotel-guests only. Breakfast buffet and diner are included. The extra Euro's for a junior suite are worth the extra Euro's. In the afternoon your kids are looked after in a kid's club, so you can enjoy the sauna area.

For skiing you have to go to Solden, 12 kilometers away.
