We ordered all you can eat ribs...which apparently means 'all the time is spent waiting for your ribs'. So I can understand that the boss is a total -x- for not having enough waiters and cooks to cover the amount of customers. I told our waitress to tell the boss that he needs to hire more people because it is unfair to the employees and the customers. She seemed to sympathise with the boss, by replying the boss can't help when people call in sick, but rather than just leaving it at that she said something very telling: Except for inevitable errors in translation 'We could just not accept people that didnt have reservations and we wouldnt have this problem. We dont want them anyway.' Ironically we called right before we came and asked if it would be a problem if we didnt already have a reservation or if we should make one. She said it shouldnt be a problem and didnt bother making a reservation for us. So if this was a direct attack on us, I don't know, but she said very clearly: She doesnt want anyone there that doesnt have a reservation. That left a bad taste in my mouth.
Ironically, we were there 3 times and 3 out of 3 times, the problem remains the same. It cant be people just calling in sick. We had to talk to 2 people in the period of 30 minutes just to pay. We were there a period of 3.5 hours and we were waiting on more than half of that time for either drinks or food. We even wanted to order dessert, but no chance. We waited 30 minutes to get the menu after talking to 2 people. We waited for someone to take our order for another 30 minutes, then the waitress zoomed by and snatched our menu to give to some other just arriving party not even giving us a moments notice by asking us what we wanted to order. We ended up having to go to the waiters table 3 times.
They obviously dont want our money, and I doubt you will get any other treatment. A customer was right behind us complaining they were waiting on their drinks for over an hour. All the tables around us were empty of plates and we were even joking with the table next to us about the poor service for a good hour and a half.
